I've cried a thousand rivers, and it's not enough...
To be brutally honest, at this stage, I don't think it ever will be.
I had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and they could not find the baby's heartbeat. Ultrasound confirmed that I had lost the child.
I got home from the hospital yesterday and DH and I are utterly devastated. This was our first, which turned out to be a boy instead of a girl as the sonogram tech had originally thought.
I lost him on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 7:03 PM PDST. RIP little James Franklin Whitlow. So tiny and so perfect. I love you more than I can ever say!

Holy lack of posting, Batman!
I just realized that I haven't posted anything since mid August, and it's now mid October. I still haven't gotten my stitching mojo back, and I am not sure when/if it will return.
The reason?
Back in late July, my DH and I discovered (much to our surprise) that I was pregnant. Tomorrow I begin my 20th week, which means I am at the halfway point. YAY! Go me! :)
I've tried to find baby announcements and everything is overly frilly, flowery, and/or saccharine sweet. I have about decided that I will tailor one of the SMO monthly samplers like I did for my wedding announcement and be done with it. The baby is due in March, and that one I already have stitched up. I will just need to pick out some of the backstitching and change it a bit. I suppose I should stitch up the January and February ones, just to cover my bases. Maybe that will be the impetuous to get me to stitch again, eh? :)
Hope everyone is having a lovely, kicked back day today. I;m gonna go see if I can't find any Halloween candy. :D
