A new start and some random quizzes

I am the Goddess of Starting Cross Stitch projects, I swear. I have more starts than you can shake a stick at. Honestly, if starting new projects was heroin, I would've been in rehab a loooooooooooooong time ago. I decided earlier today that I needed to do Lizzie Kate's 'Happy New Year' #S63. I wanted it to look happy and festive, so I pulled a 28 count black (yes, you read that correctly BLACK) jobelan fabric. Right now I am stitching the 'Happy New Year' portion in Needle Necessities #1931 Calypso threads. It's really popping and I hope to finish it soon, preferably BEFORE NYE, so I can hang it up for a while on the stitchy wall. We will see, eh? o.o

Now, for some completely random quizzes that I found online. This is just to suck up some space on the blog, no need to read further unless you have free time to kill. :)

Act your age? My FH frequently calls me juvenile, but I like a good penis joke. So sue me. :)

Born on what day of the week? Saturday, I think.

Chore you hate? Dusting. I collect rocks, and I have quite a few of them. Picking each one up and having to put them back up is annoying.

Dad’s name? Richard.

Essential makeup item? Mascara

Favorite actor? Keanu Reeves

Gold or silver? Silver

Hometown? Jacksonville, FLA

Instruments you play? Play now or used to? I used to be able to play piano and flute. Now, about the only thing I can play is a mean internet radio. (Go, go Radio Paradise! )

Job? Professionally unemployed.

Kids? Do four cats count?

Living arrangements? Rent.

Mom’s name? Linda

Need? Food, drink, my family, and love. Breathing in and out is also nice. :D

Overnight hospital stays? Uhm... when I had my tonsils taken out when I was 2 was the last time, if memory serves.

Phobias? Being homeless.

Quote you like? How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, (Sherlock Holmes) The Sign of Four, 1890

Religious affiliation? That information is given out on a need to know basis. :)

Siblings? One younger sister.

Time you wake up? Today? 7:30 AM

Unique talent? I can make my toes wave hi. (Honest to God!)

Vegetable you refuse to eat? Pickled cabbage, aka sauerkraut.

Worst habit? My friend Amber says cracking my gum.

X-rays you’ve had? Oh, geez.... Uhm... I think mostly teeth and my nasal cavities.

Yummy food you make? Cranberry sauce. And I make some mean desserts.

Zodiac Sign? Pisces.

That's all for now. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
