Off and On Topic

Sorry for the lack of updates, folks. Been running around like crazy with school and up and moving to the other side of town to be closer to my school and DH's work. We are slowly moving everything from storage into the house and unpacking from there. It's kind of going like a root canal, long, slow and painful, but we have a roof over our heads and are no longer in a hotel. :)

As a consequence, I do not have any finishes for July and I doubt I will have one for August. I really have not been feeling up to it. I study a lot now, so I guess some things will be put on the back burner for a while, which is a shame. Basically, I am in school most of the day, come home, grab lunch, study and then pass out by 930 PM. I am hoping to get my mojo back soon as it's nearing Halloween and I adore stitching Halloween related things. (My beloved SMO board will be good for this. Sandy always has tons of treats for the members!)

This past Friday, August 14, DH and I celebrated 6 months of being married. It's crazy, but I have no clue where the time went. Neither does DH, LOL! He took me out for a *very* rare treat to Texas de Brazil (http://texasdebrazil.com/). I have a guy that's in my class who is the GM of the restaurant here and he told us to come by and he would take care of us. Oh, boy, did he! Gave us a break on the check and the food was flowing. It's a Brazilian steakhouse and if ever get the opportunity to go, run, do not walk! It's awesome!

I need to bolt for now. DH and I have errands to run and we need to get some lunch.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Respectfully submitted,

C.

I completely understand. Life goes on, right! Once you've been in school for a while and everything is settled after the move, I'm sure life will even out for you. Be sure to make time for stitching soon as it's such a great stress reliever! ***hugs***
