Waiting For The Harvest

Started yet another project. Sometimes it can't be helped! :)

I am really enjoying it so far, but I wish I had more time to stitch. Well, I do, however, when I come home late at night, I am too tired to even contemplate picking up a needle. I doubt I will finish this before Halloween, however, I do have Tuesday and Wednesday off, and nothing planned. I think I will make sure that I get plenty of sleep tonight and just lay around and stitch! :)

At any rate, here's what I have so far. I've stitched it like this to see if I had my placement centered correctly and to see how well the colors worked together. Sometimes I pick out colors that I think look fantastic until I get them on the fabric, LOL! :)

Design: Waiting For The Harvest

Designer: Blackbird Designs

Fabric: 28 count evenweave of unknown origin and color. (Possibly Bay Leaf by Wichelt.)

Fibers: Crescent Colours Belle Soie silks in Carrot Cake, Old Crow, and Vanilla Pudding

Well, I best be off. I have some chores to do before work. Hope everyone has a fantastic week! :)

Respectfully submitted,

C.
