Another tiny WIP

I had purchased this wee project a bit ago, put all of 3 stitches in it, and set it aside. I think it was because I am not too fond of the fabric, which is a really dull mousy color, and I really prefer my stitching to pop off of the fabric.  My feeling is, that if I spend the kind of time, effort and MONEY into what I'm doing, my stitching should grab you immediately by the collar, hollering, "Look at me! Look at ME!!!"

Well, I felt guilty about running off and leaving it, so I picked it back up and here is what I have so far. It's stitching up rather quickly, so hopefully, I will have it finished soon. I've added the same Kelmscott Designs' needle minder by the piece so one can see how tiny it is.

Design: Glory House

Designer: Chessie and Me

Fabric: 36 count Vintage Pearled Barley by Lakeside Linens

Fibers Used: Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk in Attic Tea, Chocolat, Icing, Mer Blue, Puritan Blue, Red Fox, and Weathered Vine

Well, I best be off. I have stuff I have to do before work. Hope everyone has a great weekend! :)
