Last WIP Wednesday Post for August

Just noticed on the calendar, that this is the last Wednesday of the month. I probably will not get to finish my current WIP before September, but miracles have been known to happen! :)


At any rate, here is my progress so far. I think I am liking posting last week's pictures with this weeks. I can really see the progress that has been made. Which is important when you think you aren't getting anywhere! :)


First, the pertinents and such:


Design:  Mermaid Azure


Designer: Nora Corbett 


Fabric Used: 32 count Zweigart Belfast linen in Rainbow Dreams by Silkweaver from their Reflections (opalescent) line.

Fibers Used:  DMC in B5200, 469, 704, 754, 758, 772, 951, 954, 955, 991, 992, 3371, 3761, 3765, 3844, 3845, 3846, and 3847. Crescent Colours  cotton floss in Bing Cherry for her hair. 


Bling Used:  Mill Hill beads in #00525 Light Green#02008 Sea Breeze#02016 Crystal Mint#02031 Citron, and #42029 Tapestry TealMill Hill Treasures in #13003 Margarita Emerald crystal flowers and #13016 Emerald crystal beads.

She looks so beautiful! With such detail and beading as you go, I would expect visible progress to be slower than on something simple. Just keep at it and this will be spectacular!
