Spring Time Finish

This one is another re-start from the Bin O'Shame. I had the first row stitched, but it wasn't done properly, so I just picked out the 6 stitches in the top of the rabbit's ear and then just went from there. I am happy to have this one done.

Well, at any rate, on with the show!

Designer: The Trilogy

Fabric Used: 28 count raw linen of unknown manufacturer

Fibers Used: DMC Six Strand Embroidery Floss Art. 117 in 310 Black. Crescent Colours  cotton flosses in Antique Lace, Pink Champagne, and Spinach. YLI 4 MM silk ribbon in #012 Pale Yellow

Stitcher's Notes: Substituted spiderweb roses for the called for buttons. It was a lot of fun touching base with a forgotten craft. I will have to practice more as I used to really enjoy doing silk ribbon embroidery. Left off the alphabet and bottom border as I just couldn't be bothered. :)

Well, as is my custom at this point in the post, I must bid my readers a fond farewell until the next post. I must needs get my stitching area cleaned up and get ready to face the day. I hope everyone has a great day and a Happy St. Patrick's Day

Respectfully submitted,

C.
