Season of Leisure

Since my last post, I decided to just take a wee bit of a break and just start something new. I wanted to step back and really think about what I wanted to do with  Sea Flora. I took my time with this latest project and only stitched when I felt like it, which wasn't much. As consequence, it still did not take relatively long. I love the way it came out. I am hoping that next month I can get together with a dear friend of mine and we can have a 'Finishing Day'. She purchased a new fancy dancy sewing machine and she thought a finishing party with tea and cakes would be a good idea. I am actually looking forward to it! :)

Well, at any rate, here's the latest:

Design: Three Crowns

Designer: Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks

Fibers Used:  Crescent Colours  cotton flosses in Caterpillar, Cherry Cobbler, Milady's Teal, Queen Bee and Spinach

Fabric Used: 36 count smokey white Edinburgh linen by Zweigart

Bling Used: Mill Hill beads in #03049 Rich Red

Well, I had best be off. Tons to do today. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Respectfully submitted,

C.
