Another Blackbird

Greetings from brain damagingly hot Lost Vegas! Hope everyone is trying to stay cool. It's very difficult here in the desert. Temps during the day are hovering between 109 and 111. It's 'cooled down', if one can call it that, to a high of 106 today. Get out the parkas! Winter is coming! :P

I picked this one up as its' also got nice cool colors to work with. It is yet another offering from the Bin O'Shame. I am on track to make this one #23, provided I don't wander off and do something else. I have been very good about keeping on track this year, but with the goal so close, I may just get bored with it and flit off to something else. Let's hope not, though! :) I really would love to make that goal. After I make that goal, I may take a break from stitching for a bit to give myself a rest. No sense in getting carpal tunnel!

Well, I had best be off. I need to go to the store for more cooking supplies. So far today, I have managed to make peach jam, protein bars, salsa and egg salad. All from scratch, naturally. Hope everyone has a great week!
