More Summer Basket Progress

Ever have one of those projects that seemingly go on forever? This is one of those. For whatever reason, it seemed to drag a bit and I never thought I would get to move the Q-Snaps. I am assuming the reason is the bottom zig zag pattern, as I have to stitch that in three passes in order to keep the stitches looking neat. I am also almost out of a couple of the Crescent Colours cotton thread. I am hoping that it will wind up just being the Summer Spray and not any more than that.

Well, here is the Summer Basket progress so far:

Design: Summer Basket (2009 Loose Feathers #38)

Designer: Blackbird Designs

Fabric: 28 count Cashel linen in Legacy  by Picture This Plus

Fibers Used: Crescent Colours cotton thread in Blue Beadboard, Deep Blue Sea, House Wine, Hydrangea, Little House Brown, Poblano Pepper, Spun Sugar, Summer Spray, and Tomatillo

Stitcher's Notes: Converted called for threads to those already in stash. Start date unknown.

As of Monday, July 6, 2015:

As of Saturday, July 11, 2015:

I am planning on adding some elements from the left side onto the right so the piece is a bit more cohesive. I really do like the way it is turning out so far.

Well, I had best be off. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Respectfully submitted,

C.
