The internet can be such a wonderful thing. I am a member of the Fans of Blackbird Designs Facebook Group. It is an unofficial group that posts exclusively WIPs and finishes of Blackbird Designs projects. These are WIPs and finishes of legitimately obtained charts. They are a fabulous group of ladies that share a common love of Blackbird Designs.
One of the really nice things about the group is that folks are willing to loan out their original hard copy charts. Many of these charts are long since out of print and go for exorbitant prices on eBay. Whenever this particular design has come up for auction, it either went *way* past my budget when I had the ready or I simply never had the ready to start with! There was a waiting list for this particular design and finally, my number came up. It arrived in yesterday's mail and I pulled the threads and fabric for it. I am really excited to start this absolutely fresh start on a long sought after project.
Well, at any rate, here is the tiny bit I have so far:

That's a beauty! I stitched it and gave my pattern away. I wish I wouldn't have now! HA!
