Final UFO Finish For January
Well, I managed to make a liar out of myself. I managed to get another UFO finish in just under the wire for January. I have no idea as to why this one languished in the pile as long as it did, but it did. I deliberately removed the letters already stitched and left off the others as I did not think it added anything to the piece. I may stitch this one again in different colors, however, it's in the done pile as it is right now.
Well, at any rate, here are the before and after pictures:
Design: Love Letters
Designer: Yvonne Horn for Papillon Creations
Fabric: 32 count raw natural Belfast linen
UFO as of Friday, January 30, 2015:
Stitching finished Saturday, January 31, 2015:
Well, I had best be off. I need to clean up the stitchy area and get another project out for my overnight shift tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Finished Number Four
This latest finish from the Bin O' Shame really was shameful. I had half a dozen stitches in it, decided I wasn't sure on the color (Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk in Cupid, for the curious), so I tossed it in the bin until I could make up my mind.
Where it sat. And sat. And sat.
Well, yesterday I came across it and was just utterly mortified that a project had been sitting as long as it did. I took out the stitches done in Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk in Cupid and looked around for a floss that appealed to me. Found one and managed to knock this out in about a day and a half. Well, at least it is finally done and I can be happy about that. This finish is for Teh Hubmeister, in honor of our 6th wedding anniversary which we will be celebrating next month on the 14th.
Here are the details:

Fabric: 36 count Edinburgh linen in Antique White
Well, I had best be off. I need to clean up my stitching area and then paw through the Bin O' Shame and find another one to bite the dust.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! :)
