Three more finishes

Wow. I actually managed to get not one, but THREE projects stitched up and not only that but finished as well. =:O. Yes, they were all holiday related and quick stitches, but they are projects I've wanted to do for quite some time now.

Here are the finishes, in order of stitching completed, along with the related Stitchy Notes. :). Please note that the Soie d'Alger color 'names' are my own and not Access Commodities. Now, on with the show! :)

Fabric: 28 count Natural Pearl linen

Fibers: Soie d'Alger 542 (Star Yellow), 1846 (Forest Green), 2935 (French Red), Kreinik 004 Very Fine Braid in No. 1 Silver.

Accouterments: Mill Hill beads in #60479.

Began and ended Friday, November 27, 2009

Second Project:

Third Project:

Design: 2003 Christmas Alphabet (retired gift design)

Designer: Prairie Schooler

Fabric: 28 count khaki dyed Monaco (dyed by me!)

Fibers: Soie d'Alger 1846 (Forest Green), DMC in Ecru

Accouterments: Mill Hill beads in Claret (unknown catalog number)

Began and ended Sunday, November 29, 2009

My finishing isn't the best in the world, and one day I hope to have all the tools to do them up properly, but I am happy with the way they turned out. :)

Hope you all enjoyed them. I am off to finish a fourth ornament which I hope to have posted within the next day or two. :)

Respectfully submitted,

C.

Wonderful finishes! I especially like the Joy ornament! Poo on it being retired!

Congratulations on your finishes! They all came out beautiful. I liked the way you finished Christmas Alphabet with the little ring on top and the lace around the edges. I have been wanting to decorate my edges on my finishes, but just haven't figured out a good way of doing that yet. Little by little, we achieve these abilities!
Take care.
