Waiting For The Harvest Update

Managed to spend most of the afternoon chilling out and stitching on my latest WIP. It's going *very* well, and I am enjoying plotting out where to stitch what colors where on the design. I need to go to Stitcher's Paradise tomorrow and pick out a Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk for the pumpkin vines. I am even toying with making the stems a brown color and the vines green. This may wind up a five color design instead of the one that originally called for, LOL!

At any rate, here is what I managed to get accomplished today:

Design: Waiting For The Harvest

Designer: Blackbird Designs

Fabric: 28 count evenweave of unknown origin and color. (Possibly Bay Leaf by Wichelt.)

Fibers: Crescent Colours Belle Soie silks in Carrot Cake, Old Crow, and Vanilla Pudding

I am hoping to have this completed by the weekend, so I can have another October finish. I then need to go back to my Prairie Schooler Christmas cabin and finish that by no later than the end of November, as that is a present. :)

Well, I best be off for now. It's almost dinner time and I have some stuff to do before I can go back to my stitching. :)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Respectfully submitted,

C.
