Thanksgiving Day finish and a new start

Got my Ghostly Quaker finished up last night during The West Wing marathon that DH and I overindulged in. Had too much turkey, too much pie and too much of The West Wing , so yea, it was a good day! :D

Here are the stitchy notes and the pics:

Design: Ghostly Quaker

Designer: Sandra Dering for SanMan Originals

Fabric: Picture This Plus 28 count cashel linen in Sprite (DMC 3743 Variegated)

Fibers: Access Commodities Soie d'Alger in Blanc Optique, Noir, 3842 and 3843. Kreinik #4 001 silver braid.

Notes: This is a MEMBER ONLY freebie for the 2010 Fright Night festivities of the SanMan Originals Message Board. It is not for sale or trade!

I also got the beginning stitches in for what I think will be one of my Christmas projects this year. It's another Carriage House Sampling design, and I got it for cheap off of Ebay. Ive seen it stitched in a variety of ways, I really do love the dark green/off white combination. At any rate, here is what I have so far. It's not much, but I think this one will go very quickly:

Designer: Kathy Barrick for Carriage House Samplings

Fiber: Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk in Icing

Well, I need to bolt for now. Got lots to do today before work on Black Friday. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! :)

Respectfully submitted,

C.
