At any rate, here is Summer in Bloom so far. I am really loving the color changes I've made. I think the basket just pops off of the pale yellow of the fabric.

A Father's Day Update
Have gotten a bit more done on my Summer In Bloom WIP. It's slow going as I have been really, really busy, however, I am hoping things settle down soon so that I may finish it. I haven't had a finish since April! *gasp* And no UFO finishes since January! *double gasp* :O
At any rate, here is Summer in Bloom so far. I am really loving the color changes I've made. I think the basket just pops off of the pale yellow of the fabric.

And since today is Father's Day, I'd like to take this opportunity to post a picture of my beloved Father. This picture was taken in Cadiz, Spain in May of 1966. My father was in the US Navy at the time, on a sub tender. He and my Uncle were going out on a night on the town. My father was always well dressed and I think this captures him perfectly:
Happy Father's Day, Daddy! I love you and I miss you terribly!
Well, I'm off to make lunch and head to work. Hope everyone out there in Stitchy Bloggerland and Teh Intarwebz has a wonderful weekend! :)
