Two Fins

Netflix is such a wondrous thing. It has provided all the background noise for my latest project. This past week I have spent time on the Mermaid Azure and with Fin Tutuola from Law and Order: SVU. Because of the way the the chart reads and my continued miscounting of stitches, I made the executive decision to bead as I go. I don't have a hard and fast rule about beading until the end, it's just something that I do. Beading as I go on this one has kept me on track and since this one is quite bead heavy, will make the project seemingly go quicker. :)


Well, at any rate, here she is, my Mermaid Azure:

Fabric Used: 32 count Zweigart Belfast linen in Rainbow Dreams by Silkweaver from their Reflections (opalescent) line.

Fibers Used:  DMC in B5200, 469, 535, 704, 754, 758, 772, 951, 954, 955, 991, 992, 3371, 3761, 3765, 3844, 3845, 3846, and 3847. 


Bling Used:  Mill Hill beads in #00525 Light Green, #02008 Sea Breeze, #02016 Crystal Mint, #02031 Citron, and #42029 Tapestry Teal. Mill Hill Treasures in #13003 Margarita Emerald crystal flowers and #13016 Emerald crystal beads.
