Executive Decisions

Sometimes, one just has to make them. In this case, I am not happy with the way the Au Ver a Soie Soie 100/3 Spun Silk is laying on the fabric. It really is a shame, as I love the way this has turned out, however, the stitches looks squished in places and I am not happy with that. So, it's drop 20 and punt time. I will probably redo this again, perhaps on white next time. And if I decide to use 48 count Dower linen again, I will most definitely be converting the Au Ver a Soie Soie 100/3 Spun Silk  to the Gloriana's Tudor Silk threads. I think it will go much, much smoother.

Well, at any rate, here is #36 from the infamous Bin O'Shame. The scissors in the picture are the Lion's Tail kind from DOVO. They are 3.5 inches with a fine point. DH purchased these for me for my birthday in 2013 during a trip to the Bay Area. He took me to Needle In A Haystack. What an absolutely WONDERFUL store. I really do wish we lived closer so that I could go back.
