At least I can say that the house is cleaned up and that I've caught up on my reading, which is never a bad thing.
I woke up yesterday to the horrible news that Brussels, Belgium had been the victim of terrorists attacks. My heart goes out to the people of Belgium. This is a terrible tragedy for them. As of this writing, 31 people have died and another 60 are in critical condition. As with the horrible attacks in Paris, it is hard to know what to do in these situations. I have no money to go to either Brussels or Paris in order to help. I can only do what I can do. Which in my case is pray for those affected, donate where I can, and stitch. I decided to break my self imposed exile from stitching when I saw this piece by Danielle Chevallier of Danybrod. It is a freebie, which was lovely of her.
I added a bit of US to this piece as I firmly believe the US is in full support of Brussels and of Belgium in this heartbreaking time for them. This too, has happened to us, and how well we know how deeply this hurts and can affect a country.
